PM Rapid Assess™
Rapid Assess
Rapid Assess
Online Assessment Duration: 45-60mins
Cost: Price on Application
PM Rapid Assess is a baseline and gap analysis tool used by organisations around the world to help understand where they are today in terms of competency as a group and identify where each individual within the group is particularly strong or in need of assistance.
PM Rapid Assess can be implemented immediately within any organisation in any industry. PPG have successfully implemented PM Rapid Assess in Engineering & Construction, Banking & Finance, Management Consulting, Telecommunications, Energy and IT organisations in Australia and abroad.
PM Rapid Assess can be used to assess any number of candidates ranging from 5 to 500 or more. Each assessment takes approximately 60-90mins to complete. Results are made available to the candidate online immediately.
Once all individual assessments are completed PPG produces a corporate report summarising the group results and breaks the data down providing management with multiple views of the data at the different layers.
The web-based assessment is a three part assessment
- Experience
- Knowledge
- Skills & Behaviours
Experience
- General experience questions
- For example "How many years project management experience do you have?", "How many years business analysis experience do you have", "How many projects do you ordinarily manage at any one time?" Questions are fully (and easily) customisable.
- Training courses attended
- Training courses offered by the client organisation in the past or general courses can be specified. The system asks for completion or equivalents and in which year. This section is fully (and easily) customisable.
- Qualifications
- A list of qualifications and certifications is provided. Candidates are asked to identify which they hold and in which year they were obtained. For Example: PMP, AIPM RegPM, Bachelor, Masters of Project Management, CBAP. This section is fully (and easily) customisable.
Knowledge Assessments
The knowledge assessment consists of a set of randomly generated multiple choice questions that assesses knowledge of accepted Project Management terminology and concepts. There are several tests to choose from or alternatively they can be customised to your organisational requirements.
- At the completion of the knowledge test candidates are presented with their summary results (sample provided in Appendix B) on screen. The results detail the candidate's
- Score out of 100
- Target score
- Suggested development by either Reading and/or Training
- If reading is suggested a reference will be provided based on the individual questions that were answered incorrectly
- Specific training course recommendations are not made to the individual; these are made to the client organisation as part of the corporate reporting. This is done to maintain control of candidate expectations and training expenditure.
- Several knowledge tests are available, and additional tests can be created or customised
